Layla's asleep, and I'm about to try and get as much done on my A2 watercolour of a rainbow trout - a surprise gift for my darling landlord's 60th birthday. Who knows how long Layla will sleep for - but hopefully long enough for me to lay down the basics in pencil!

Oh wow! I thought that was snakeskin at first... I didn't realise it was trout and I didn't realise they were in fact so rainbow coloured!

Thanks for your comment! I am hardly ever online these days and must confess I almost never read any blogs anymore... I'm hoping that once Layla starts school I'll be able to get back into the swing of things... (i.e. Layla starts school in 5 years' from now --- *sigh*) What are you doing for Christmas? xx
Hiya! Sorry for the late reply. Our world kind of fell apart for a little while just before Xmas but thankfully everything is back on track. We went off to a hotel in oxford for Xmas - how was yours?
